Slight correction: Dan has been named PD of WSM-FM. WSM-AM carries the Grand Ole Opry.

They even got beat by WSM AM (not co owned with WSM-FM). There has been a lot of talk on the Nashville board about a "change" at the WSM-FM.
I stand corrected,if I remember correctly they tried to change one of the WSM's a few years ago but alot of big name country singers protested it.
