What a breath of fresh air. I really enjoyed listening to these two last week on WLW. Upbeat and intelligent. Fun and accessible. If this kind of programming was on regularly in the 3-6 pm slot I might actually listen beyond catching the news and traffic. What a sad state yesterday to tune in and hear once again the fake and tired egotistical shtick of Tracy Jones, the EBN burnout Eddie Fingers, and their guest in the 4:30-5 segment, a redneck-sounding stripper. Gross. Darrell Parks and company sure seem hellbent on attracting as many listeners from the trailer parks as possible.

keys2- Maybe you should tune in to NPR. With all respect to Marzullo as a weatherman and Dan Carroll as a TV reporter-they make for boring radio-I couldn't punch out fast enough. We need MORE Tracy and Eddie- I'm demanding now on this forum that Darrell eliminate that wasted hour of sports talk and extend Tracy and Eddie to 7p!
Who was the pair that used to come on wlw Saturday mornings?
One was David Wacker?) and the other was later relocated to Atlanta, can't recall his name though.
They were hilarious together.
One of the funniest days was when I guess someone found a cd of military sound effects...and they spent the show shooting missiles and other weapons at celebrities homes around town. The only one I specifically remember hearing them blow up was Marge Schott.
Hilarious.......and consistently funny every week of its short run.

Because WLW could put practically anything on that signal and it would get ratings. It's just too bad they have opted for this mess instead of something better.
Really Jack, we "people on this board" come here to express an occasional opinion, that's all. I'll note the same thing you're so fond of pointing out to everyone else. You don't like it, but you keep listening. Or in your case READING. Get over yourself already.

I am just puzzled when people come on and say the show should be taken off the air. I mean..most folks on here are in the biz and are saying a profitable show should be taken off? Doesn't compute with me.
I'm not sure WLW could put ANYTHING on and get ratings. Maybe during baseball season...MAYBE...but I don't think they are as infallible as that. No station is.
