Dan Ingram's Closing Theme Played on a Different Oldies Station

I know you fans of Dan Ingram during his days at Musicradio WABC and also on WABC Rewound back on Memorial Day. I made an aircheck today that Rick Knight who was a jock on Cool 92.9 did his afternoon shift. There was one on Friday during the 6:00 hour after the news that Cool 92.9 was playing Dan Ingram's closing theme called "Tri-Fi Drums", that clip was so crazy. He actually stole Allan Sniffen's trademark line at the end of "Board Reflections" right before Rick McCaffery just coming in. After that comes the "Solid Gold Jukebox" featured a well-known voiceover announcer who used to do the CBS-FM sweepers for such a long time until the station flipped to "Jack" last year. I send this link here if you want to listen to it, it will go crazy. I hope you enjoy it. http://www.sendspace.com/file/aw5izk

Rick Knight has a lot of **alls playing Big dan's closing theme- he's a terrible dj who couldn't even shine Dan's shoes. Cool 92.9 is toast anyway, sold.... ;D..wonder what Rick and the rest of them will do for work...

I guess Rick Knight is still doing a Saturday night show with Claire Channel on one of the Lite-FM's called "Studio 92", "Studio 98" and "Studio 99" playing nothing but classic dance music just like "Mix 102.7" and KTU does in New York City now.

Do you mean he's actually playing Tri-Fi drums under his own show closing?

If so, that is about as lame as it gets!
