Longtime popular Nashville newsanchor Dan Miller passed away on April 8th in Augusta Georgia. Dan gained national attention when he became Pat Sajak's announcer/sidekick for CBS's late night The Pat Sajak Show from 1989-1990.
For the last several years, Dan was newsanchor for WSMV in Nashville and was visiting his hometown of Augusta, Georgia for the Masters Tournament with WSMV sports director Rudy Kalis and colleague Terry Bulger. He suffered a fatal heart attack and leaves a wife and several children. He was 67.
