tomficker said:If live, that would mean Dan Patrick from 8am-11am. But even if they run it one hour behind..maybe 9am-12pm. If they make a move, I'd assume another change where Ben and Skin or Newy and Sean would be slid into the 6am-9am spot.
my ideal lineup
Ben and Skin 5am-8am or 9am and drop first hour of Dan Patrick
Dan Patrick 8am or 9am-11am live
Jim Rome 11am-2pm live
Newy and Sean 2pm-6pm---I know this overlaps Newy's sportscasts but similar setups are done deliberately in other markets for promotional purposes for the local news.
6pm-10pm any combination of Kevin Scott, Mike Rodriguez, Pete Stein, or anyone else filling time until Rangers or talking sports. It just doesn't matter at all. Maybe even Best of Ben and Skin?
10pm-5am Fox Sports radio but I would prefer Tony Bruno live over JT the Brick from 10pm-1am or whenever Rangers coverage ends. I believe Tony is distributed by Dan Patrick's company so that might be a possibility.
Weekends...as much live and local they can afford. Maybe involve Greg Hill and the 6-10pm fill-ins.

Dan Patrick is being pushed by premiere and fsr so I'm sure any clearance is better then 13 hour tape delay on The Ticket.

As a fan of the Ticket, do you want taped Dan Patrick on from 9pm-12am? Would you prefer live Todd Wright?
I find it kind of insulting that a sports show could run on a delay so long that often it's previewing games that already ended. It's obviously just a paycheck for the Ticket to clear it in Dallas. That being said, it's not a bad show and so if there was an opportunity to run it live on another signal that would absolutely make more sense for both the Dan Patrick show and dfw listeners.
If you're coming from the perspective that the Ticket is anointed station and everyone else sucks and is doomed to fail, then there's really no point in arguing. If that's the case, have fun at summer bash! I don't hate or love any of the stations. I just want as many LIVE sports talk options as possible.

Depends on what they (Patricks people) are selling to their advertisers. Be interesting to see the difference between what the Ticket (#1 Men 25-54) draws at night versus what KRLD-FM (around 25th with M25-54) draws during the day. It might NOT make sense for Patrick to leave the Ticket, ridiculously long tape-delay or not...That being said, it's not a bad show and so if there was an opportunity to run it live on another signal that would absolutely make more sense for both the Dan Patrick show and dfw listeners.

I'd be highly suprised if they're getting paid to run it. Every network show is, plain and simple, about clearing inventory. More like the Ticket is saving money by running it (not having to pay Hunter and crew at night) rather than making money on it...
