Dan Sileo

How the hell does this guy have a job. Let alone be syndicated to Tampa.

Seriously, I know Clear Channel is about the most tight ass cheapskate company out there and I bet they dont pay him more than a free buffet or 2 per week plus a wing or 2 at wing house, but how does this guy keep his job?

His BIGGEST fan is Gabe Hobbs, the director of news/talk programming for all the Clear Channel stations in the Southeast (or something like that). Fact is, he calls the shots from Tampa and loves Dan. They've actually tried to force Dan to move to Tampa and do the show from there. Actually I think Orlando would like that... not really sure if they wanted him on 540's AM drive slot anyway... when actually he's doing quite well for them. Anyway... I've heard it's Hobbs... and that's why the guy is employed.

Hit the nail on the head billalm, Imagine that, Clear Channel. Programming dies when monopolys take over. The deregulation act of 1996 by the FCC has killed the airwaves for good.
