I've asked this before on other boards. Isn't he doing his own thing outside of radio with weddings and such?
I once wrote him a letter when I was about nine concerning radio as I had to
write a letter for an english class. I remember then asking about why he couldn't play my request at XYZ time. I still have the lletter he wrote me back to Mrs B's class. Used to listen to him faitfully every sunday on WODE, (This is before I had an antenna setup) I would listen to that station no matter how bad the signal was, and him especially . I can remember many a night mom asking me to go to bed, but Mom I have to hear "House Of the Rising Sun" or "Gramma Got Run Over By A Raingear" LOL. Now when I'm in Bensalem, no one teles me what time to stay up too, so I just stay up and wait for tropo.
