Dan York

Dan York would have been a good interviewer. He allows both sides to talk, discuss the facts, stay on topic . Today's so called, liberal, moderate, conservative networks would not do well with someone with Dan's ability to have discussions, differing opinions and present their case.

Dan would most like do well on a Lou Dobb's panel.

I always enjoyed Dan's interviewing skills. He does give the other person plenty of time to give you their side of the story. He had a couple of very good interviews just this week and I find that I always learn something from him. Kudos to him!!!!

Living in a borderline town, we are jealous of Rhode Island, exception DePetro.

I do not listen to WSAR when in the car or home, Colajezzi is such a phoney. His phoney insensitivity comes thru

Dan is the most interesting of all the Hosts. Very deep man..
I think He should RUN Wpro. As General Manager. He would never take the S--T
that Miss Hames allows. Dan would fire them all! Dan could both be Host and run
the station. He's a smart guy for sure.

Yeah GREAT idea, let Dan run WPRO. After all, he did such a great job running the station he onced owned. Check that story out. Sad too, he lost his families money also. GREAT pic for station VP. HUGE failure.

Yak Dude, COME ON! You're comparing apples with oranges! Honestly, they're attacking and screaming at eachother in the hallways, and cooking the ratings books and what was done to stop it?. Yorke would do a better job and WPRO simply can't run off the road, cause there is NO competition. It was very different for Dan Yorke 15 years ago.

I always said that WPRO is in a one man race. If you have a show on the station you are pretty much going to win in the ratings no matter who you are.

Unless your too old for Dan to take your call. His obvious bias against callers that he considers outside of his target demo is disheartening.

Don't forget Dan, we'll all be "old" someday.

I don't understand how this guy thinks that keeping elderly callers off the show makes it better. I'm young and I like to hear the older callers. A good talk show host should be able to work with EVERYBODY who calls. Dan is just showing that he has limted abilties. Dan would probably say that the older callers slow down the show. Well guess what Pal? You've got 4 hours to fill. There isn't exactly a rush!

Tell that to Dave Barber.

"Breaker one-nine..."

SOMEWHERE...radio STILL cranks it.

Good evening from Washington, where WTOP is all-OVER this deadly Metro crash story like-radio-OUGHT-TO-be. It's exciting to listen (http://wtopnews.com).

Meanwhile, Sox logo'd apparel was ALL-OVER my PVD>BWI flight this morning...and Saux-spank-Nats for #1-of-3 tonight here. BIGGEST crowd in history at the Washington Nationals.

PS: WEDNESDAY night, don't miss yours truly, in-studio guest for the 11P-12A hour of The Jim Bohannon Show on several hundred stations. Topic: New Media Trends. Tell Dan.

PS: As you may-already-have-heard from other locals who were there (LOTS of "Let's go Redddddd Sauxxxxx"): The Nats' new stadium is nice. NOT-trying-to-be Camden Yards. But it wasn't ready for new attendance records three-nights-in-a-row. 'Seems more-suited to a Nats/Pirates-game-size-crowd. THRONG of obvious New Englanders overwhelmed the situation. Intolerable waits for food, and Metro was like Tokyo.

Hey Holl, how's the Dave Barber job search coming?
Can't believe he's still shining Billy Murphy's shoes with a "legendary" friend like you to help him out ;)

OK Radiohead. Let's cut to the chase. List your three reasons for why you don't like Holland. I'm curious to see if they are legitimate reasons.

Meanwhile...12 miles from Salty Brine BEACH...

...if your ears are burning, it's because, among others, my housefulla funsters this week includes ex-WPRO PD David Bernstein, who just INHALED a lobster nearly-the-size-of-himself. Shocking video to follow.
