Dan Yorke schools Dave Barber AGAIN!!

Dave Barber had Lt Gov Fogarty on his show yesterday. Fogarty made all kinds of accusatorystatements about Gov. Carcieri who he is running against for Gov in November. Carcieri took offense to some of Fogarty's comments and came on Barbers show today. Channel 10 did a story on their 6 pm news about Fogarty's comments and Carcieri's response back to him on Barber's show. Because Channel 10's first segment of their 6pm news is simulcast on WPRO Yorke has audio feed of the entire newscast and was doing his show when this segment ran. After listening to the TV piece while on-air Yorke made a couple of very revealing comments about his counterpart in the morning. Yorke accused Fogarty of throwing bombs and how he got away with it whereas he (Yorke) considers it "his job" to know the issues and to challengepeople when they make wild statements. It was a DIRECT slap at Dave Barber by Dan Yorke.Dan Yorke does not like this Barber guy and it comes through in no uncertain terms with some of the things Yorke says. This is the 3rd time I've heard Yorke take shots at Barber over his lack of show preparation and complete lack of knowledge on the issues. How funny is this. Barber tried to get the Governor to agree to debating Fogarty on his show. The Gov refused to commit to a debate on Barber's show by stating he did not want to get in the middle of in-house politics at the station. How funny is that? That was a polite way for the Governor to blow off Barber as not being one of his boys.Not a good day for Dave Barber.His highly rated colleague at WPRO and the Governor of the state both blew him off in public.Think it's occurred to Dave Barber that he's not in Michigan anymore? ;D
