Dan Yorke shoots his cause in the foot.

Dyana Koelsch works for the courts maybe?? She's not with the governor's staff but she does work for one of the state agencies.
Jim Taricani of channel 10 was also missing Linc Almond's spokesman a few years back.

I think he doesn't like you. He always is challenging what you say. Maybe you worked with wknd92 and had a falling out or maybe he has alot of free time.
I think he often leads people away from a subject, when someones knocking Citadel.

As for Dan Yorke, (the subject) I think you're sooo right! Dan wasted days talking about signs. Now he all upset about the Budget. Well, MR Yorke, if Carcieri gets agressive , won't you go after him again?

Walter...it is news 101. Dr Stenberg at RIC always taught that just because something is fact (ie the mayor is gay) doesn't make it news....who he is with doesn't either. I have never seen any story about the mayor done by Mario, which also leads me to believe that the WJAR mgt (old bud Artie Teft included) don't let it be an opportunity to open for criticism.

Seeing as this isn't even on target to be ing close to what the thread is about, I'm done on it....tree falls in the woods, film at 11

Getting back to Dan...maybe all of everybody's disgust with the talk last week, they missed that he was talking about both points, the signs and the budget. Seeing as a lot of crap got shoved into the budget friday night after Dan was off the air, of course he is going to talk about it (ie the General Assembly inserting themselves in between the gambling sites and town councils, nullifying the town council power, voting to not discuss and table the amendment about the school funding)......bad stuff going on up on the hill...just going to get worse. Gonna be a whole new set of faces in 2008

It is well known News 10 treats Ciccilline with kid gloves.
The Mayors office gave stats that crime was the lowest in 31 years. Mario did
the story. No follow up, no homework, no investigation.
The Pro Jo reported on these stats, they said there were many crimes that had been Recatigorized .
In other words, we were being lied to.
It is the hand that rocks the cradle. News 10 is no longer a reliable source for news.
Yorke had some shows on this, but WPRO has this agreement with 10 News, so..

Walter, grow up.
Conflict of interest was taught; but show me where he's done any stories. Artie wouldn't let any conflict of interest to happen and neither would the station management, especially seeing as there have been fines recently at a slew of stations for not keeping correct public records (which would have to include ALL stories and who filed the stories) at small operations. If you've got such a problem with it, go down, ask for the public file, review the stories and if you have a case (don't think you do), file a complaint with the FCC.....

If you want to discuss this like a normal human being, you know who to contact at Wampanoag trail to get in touch with me....I'm not hiding.

As far as Dan Yorke, agreement w/ WJAR or not, they aren't paying his salary, he is slamming away at Cicilline's proposal to borrow 700 MILLION to spackle the underfunding of the pension fund that has continued under the current mayor's watch even though it was promised in a campaign that it wouldn't.

I do follow what you write, I just have a problem with letting stupidity go unchallenged. You can now respond with your requisite "go take your drugs" comment.
 
I think wcwc is right about this 92. Just my opinion..

I hope Yorke tells those Republicans to put those signs back up!
