I wonder how many of you guys would've started arguing
with John D on the air? I heard the guy take the mike and
start ranting. Could Yorke have done anything on the air...?
I don't think that would've been the smart thing to do. I
think he did just the RIGHT thing keeping his mouth shut.
He let JD talk and talk until he made a complete fool of himself.

If Cianci and the others JD used to pick on went to the studio
in those days and all started something JD would've been pulp.
He can give but can't take.

Yorke didn't have to argue with DePetro.
Yorke could have simply said to DePetro's face what he had been
saying about DePetro on the radio for a long time.
Didn't happen!
DePetro was out of line to confront Yorke the way he did but
Yorke showed himself to be a spineless motor mouth.
Next time Yorke rants and raves about anybody I'll just laugh.
Yorke and his macho mouth have no credibility left.

Yorke could have shut the Mic off if he was quick on his feet. Does he have a Board in front of him when doing remotes? I assume he does. Somebody could have shut the Mic off if Depetro was just rambling. This will teach WPRO to build a stage so that people don't have such easy access when they go on location.

Depetro probably screwed himself out of any future employment at WPRO and Yorke just looked like a big WUSSY for not saying anything. So Ladies and Gentleman we have two Losers this round. The only winner was the listener for getting to hear some great radio. LOL

You know they usually come on and say NOTHING. Honestly, thats BAD radio. Show some balls. Address what happened. Laffey should pay a price for what happened.
I bet WPRO wimps out , again show some guts! Everyone will tune in Monday to hear what REALLY happened and whats going to happen. Depetro did WPRO a favor- gave them free publicity. Are they smart enough to run with it?
The thing that REALLY gets me is ,this all occured at a fund raiser for victims of Hurricane Katrina- OUTRAGING!
