Dan Yorke

Heard him on WTKK-Boston this morning. He was sitting in for Michael Graham. Should we read anything into this?

Does nt Howie start next week at WTKK?I heard Dan during the 9' oclock hour.He sounded very "upity" and really excited. It may be because he drank a pot or two of coffee this morning but he really sounded good on WTKK.Even though he talking about "Twin River" He had my interest for awhile. At least the 15 or 30 minutes I was listening.I'm sure if he worked there he could slide right into talking about Boston related issues a little better than Depetro on WRKO.
I can picture Dan on WTKK down the road now that I heard him on Talk FM.

I was thinking the same thing. I decided to tune in from 9 to 10. Dan sounded really good. Maybe it's just the better quality of FM. hahaha. Seriously though I think he would fit in nice over at TKK. I think it's the next evolutionary step in Dan's career. At PRO Dan sounds tired, layed back and grumpy. On TKK He sounded engergized and rejuvenated as if he was really happy to be there. Wow.... stick a guy in a different studio 8 hours earlier and it makes a world of difference.

Skynet, You said it. I am sorry I could not word this like you did.
On WTKK he does sound energized but on WPRO he sounds very tired with the WPRO deal. You don't really hear how tired and grumpy he is until you hear him on both stations.
I wonder if the Cianci thing on WPRO is wearing him down already.

This is how Depetro started out on WRKO and it landed him a full-time gig.I wonder if Dan is working on moving on up to WTKK and this is some sort of audition.
I also agree WTKK would be a nice fit for Dan.Middays or something.I think WTKK finally has some stability now with Severen being back and Carr making the jump from WRKO.
For months a good part of thier day was a mess but things seem to be falling into place nicely for them.

Hoo boy. NOW there'll be trouble...

Watch the Boston board, to see if there's gnashing-of-teeth because some underloved understudy -- "the Matt Allen of WTKK" -- was passed-over FOR AN OUTSIDER.

Try searching with keyword "LOCAL LOCAL LOCAL."
