Expect to see lots of ads promoting Dan over the next week. I think WPRO is going to take full advantage that Dan is the only "local" talk show host on between 3-6 with a big mug of him with something to the piont to sway Arlene's people over to him..

Not that I would blame them.

Although Arlene was aledgeadly told Thursday was her last show shortly after 6 pm. My understanding is she was taking care of $$$$ wise with the buyout of her contract.

York came here in 1999. He had no ratings and was killedby Arlene in the ratings from 1999-2004. HJJ puts on Air america, and suddenly he starts to beat her. If he is such a "talent", why did it take him 7 years and a failed Al Franken show to beat a 63 year old former nun who took 10 weeks of vacation?
