Lost track of him after 1992. What happened to him? Is he still in radio?

Another name from Erie, PA that I was thinking about the other day is Ted Abbott formerly of the Jamestown, New York market. Is he still in Radio? He did mornings at WRIE with a news guy named
Bob who I believe has passed on.

Ironically, I worked with both these gentlemen. Ted Abbott hired me at WKSN in 1979 and Dana Bolles fired me at WKSN in 1981, lol.
Ted went on to WRIE through 1984, briefly came back to WRIE after signing back on in '86 from being dark, then he went to JET-FM in middays.
Another ironic twist, an ex sister-in-law married Ted's stepson for awhile.

Dana went from WKSN to Classy 100 to Mix 103.7 to WLKK talk radio. In 2004, he was in Corry at WWCB but left last year.. I know he does the commercials for Erie Instititute of Technology so he may have an agency.

Ohhh, the Bob that did news at WRIE was the legendary Bob Hughes. He worked with Oogie Pringle, Pat Rogers, Bill Lacy, Mike Murphy and Ted Abbott.
Quite an impressive list of morning guys. Bob is still alive and lives a few houses down from a friend of mine and his wife. Guessing he'd be in his late 60's or early 70's now. Guess he loves listening to Rush.
