Dance Factory?

Two of the three sticks that make up 9FM were once part of the Energy trio...

Energy was...
92.7 WKIE Arlington Heights
92.5 WDEK DeKalb
92.7 WKIF Kankakee

9FM is...
92.7 WKIE Arlington Heights
92.5 WDEK DeKalb
99.9 WRZA Kankakee

I believe that Dance Factory starts up at 9pm nightly and runs until 5am.

Actually Monday - Thursday nights, it's until 4:30am, and on weekends at 5am. I listen to Dance Factory both at work and in the car, and I get off work after midnight - 4am.

Being from AZ, I don't know much about this station except from their website. But I was told that 9 FM (92.7, 92.5, 99.9) switches to the Dance Factory at night...isn't this the old Energy Chicago frequencies? I didn't see the call letters on the ratings chart...any info?

I forgot how high the ratings were for Energy, but the Energy ratings were for WKIE & WDEK, while WKIF was in Kankakee, and barely covered Will County Illinois. As for Nine FM, they showed up in the ratings for a while (a year after they went on the air on 99.9 & around 6 months after simulcasting on 92.7 & 92.5), but they're now a ratingless station in the Chicago market (WDEK rates in the Rockford Illinois market, but Nine FM doesn't advertise to Rockford, or the COL Dekalb)
