Dance music...On WAJZ?

That's what its starting to look like at 96.3 Jamz. The PD is already requesting Dance product for the station, so this could be an indication of the station scaling back on Hip-Hop/R&B fare and adding more Rhythmic Pop/Dance tracks into the playlist.

They should flip formats to the same one as WKTU 103.5 in NYC. As i said all along a copycat of WKTU's exact dance format playing disco dance to today's dance is needed here in the capitol region. As for Hip-Hop & R&B Clear Channel should turn either Kiss 102.3 or 103.1 into either Power 102.3 or Power 103.1 for hip hop and R&B.

As I said before, Pamal should make WZMR Rhythmic Top 40 and WAJZ Urban again!

Even better. It's very weird how they won't do this.

Actually not a bad idea to go Rhythmic on ZMR . . that has been a wasted frequency for years. I can't believe the pile of s@*% AJZ has turned into. Word has it that Rob de Latino is write-up happy with the staff. Everyday someone else is getting written up for something. Only a matter of time before Callahan and Latino totally restaff the station.

It appears that they have gone beyond that mixshow: Billboard Radio Monitor has them playing Cascada's "Everytime We Touch" and Judy Torres' "Faithfully" in daily rotation, along with Kelly Clarkson's "Because Of You"(Remix).

WHIRL 103.1 FM?

How about "Whirl 103.1: Albany's Hip-Hop & R&B"?
I mean WHRL--WHiRL.

Re: Power 103.1FM-Perfect for Hip Hop & R&B

Definitly. CC can call it Power 103.1 The Capitol Region's New #1 For Hip Hop & R&B. CC did that with Jammin' 105 in nyc in early 2002 converting them to Power 105.1 hip hop & r&b and they are successfull now and have been so since they first signed on the format. It would probably work here too especially since 96.3 isn't a true station for the format anymore. CC should try this.
