Dance Recurrents

I noticed some dance recurrents such as Dirty Talk,Barbara Streisand and Don't Stop Believing are on the Mediabase Top 100 monitored songs. These songs are doing better than current dance songs and DSB is about 3 yrs old now. Is this normal or are certain dance songs getting a new push due to the current popularity in the uptempo sound?

This might be due to having stations like KTFM having these songs in current rotation, so maybe its a good thing that they're seeing listeners rediscovering these overlooked tracks.

I think it's a little different with KTFM. The competition in San Antonio has increased with the addition to Dance leaning Party 97-7. In the last couple of weeks I've noticed KTFM reintroduce La Roux, Cascada, Kid Kudi(Day N Night) and David Guetta-Memories back into the playlist. Just this past week, KTFM jumped on J-Lo's new track which Party has been playing for a few weeks now.

Go Spurs!!!

Z100 added Don't stop believing back in January and Barbara Streisand is listed under "Cool New Music" on All Access. It just gives the impression that they're testing these songs again. Nothing might come out of it but their doing just as well as some current dance tracks on radio.
