Dance station heard on 9885 Short Wave

M

Mid West Clubber

heard Taio Cruz Break your heart,, Spanish or Arabic ID then into Lady Gaga Bad Romance,, this could just be a CHR station,, but its been all dance so far.. HELP.

OK then into that song called Solo.. I forgot the artist... I dont want to walk this earth if I got to do it solo... Then news break in mid song, into what sounds like a ballad in almost postively Arabic... What in the heck could this be..Please help.

Ok I heard a long news break with a lady constantly mentioning Bolivia,, Which doesnt mean nessasarily thats where its from,,, You know I have to admit, I dont even know where Bolivia is,, just trying to give you all the details ive heard,, lets figure out where its coming from.

Arabic and Spanish sound nothing alike
That song "Solo" is by Iyaz, and a station playing Lady Gaga, Taio Cruz, and Iyaz sounds like a station playing Pop music, not a Dance station. Both Taio Cruz and Lady Gaga have been topping the Billboard Hot 100 recently.
Lastly, why are you wasting time listening to Short Wave radio? The audio quality is usually worse than AM radio, and signals tend to fade in and out. I don't think I've even tried listening to SW radio in like 20 years.

You mentioned Bolivia, there are three CHRs there - there's Rock leaning Stereo 97 in the big city of La Paz and WKM Radio 91.5 over in Oruro, which plays a lot of Rock hits as well. Also in Oruro you've got FM 97.1.

Now if you want to talk Dance radio, I've noticed that over in El Salvador ABC Radio 100.1, which broadcasts to the San Salvador area, leans on Dance (similar to Slam FM Holland).

I got a radio with SW for a gift, so i thought id see what I could hear.
