Dance stations in GA

I'm afraid not as far as "pure" dance goes. There are rhytmic top 40's that play mostly the charted hip-pop/r&B/crossover tracks, but nothing beyond that. There used to be a Rhythmic in Savannah (103.1) that played dance on weekends, but that has now since flipped.

Second that. Dance radio is not very popular with sales people right now in most of the U.S., and never really was in the deep south.

GA, if I'm not mistaken, never really had a pure dance station. It may have done alright in Atlanta, but nowhere else. The only stations that I know of in America that play dance on an analog signal are Energy in Phoenix and a non-comm in Seattle. Orlando, Miami, NYC, Chicago, LA, and Dallas all had one at some point.

That's true. WKTU in NYC was dance and so was PARTY 93.1 (?) in SF. I believe that most stations have evolved to rhythmic Top 40. Energy in Chicago flipped to Spanish.

In Atlanta, Q100 and 95.5 aired mix shows on the weekend but I think that those have since become hip hop.
