There is a lot more on the charts than this small sample, but mostly in decline.

I just think as Dance we are supposed to be ALL OPEN to Pop crossover/Hip-Hop crossover. It's almost like they have reserved spaces on "our" charts. Yet, on the Pop and R&B charts.......just how open are they to Dance music? It's like our door is 80% open, but their door is only 10% open. And we are supposed to be happy? It's just not right, fair.

I think our door is too wide open and inviting too much in for very little in return. The result is Dance artists who don't make it to "our" chart because somebody else is sitting in a chair they'd like to be in.

Yes Billboard is a BIG MESS.....and I also like Beatport. BUT, 10 years from now when someone
wants to find out what was hot today......they will look at Billboard (the standard). The chart
Beatport presents today will be long gone in the eyes of history.

I also agree with DJ Perry about Billboard.

Beatport I will go with. FMQB I will go with. The latter is more effective in terms of the dance music aspect (from the commercial and our branded artists).
