Danny Bonaduce retiring from KZOK

Here's a hint: Where did they go for Danny? The problem is now there are fewer people with his name recognition.
Bonaduce was a great child actor. His scenes with Dave Madden on the Partridge Family were the best part of the show. They had great comedic chemistry.

His VH1 show about his home life was forgettable, but he was pretty good as a Radio host. He's a bright guy and a good storyteller. He gave a a very sincere and moving tribute to David Cassidy after he died.

There are plenty of TV actors with name recognition, but not sure how many would be interested in a Radio gig...

He was still doing radio when he died. He did a syndicated oldies format, plus did an exclusive show for a station (WXTR) in the DC area. He would come in and host station events from time to time. He did one at Planet Hollywood in DC just before he died.
Died at 57. Too young, but he didn't exactly take care of himself either.

Danny had a great run in the Seattle market. I always found his show to be very entertaining, and it was amazing to see how much listener interaction he and Sarah incorporated into the program. The “Life Coach” segment was some of the most entertaining morning radio that Ive heard in recent years.

Who is in mornings at KISW?

Apparently for now it's just music. But the former co-hosts will take the slot in January:

KISW will launch a revamped morning show featuring Shea’s longtime producer turned co-host Steve Migs, a new co-host, and current producers Danny Vigil and Shea’s daughter Sara on Wednesday, January 3.

Apparently it's music intensive mornings, similar to what Audacy does with KVIL and KITS.

Mornings aren't always the big ratings daypart for alternative stations. Sometimes it's afternoon drive.
That may be true over on KNDD, but I’m not sure that KISW will want to stay music intensive during the morning hours. KISW is known for being a mixture of music and talk, with the morning and afternoon show leaning heavily on talk programming that appeals to men. Long story short, I’d be very surprised if they didn’t continue to find a way to maintain a personality-driven morning show. That’s what the listeners expect. I suspect that the remaining members of the morning show will do everything possible to maintain their momentum after the holidays conclude.

Here's what was in the article:

Thanks I don't live in the area, I'm in NJ I did visit Seattle once. It was an awesome city. I loved it. 😍 Has anyone been to Skillet in Capital Hill? They were so wonderful and accommodating to us. They even gave us free cookies 🍪 😋

Wait---Shea is going to be competing with his own daughter?
Family members on different stations in the Seattle market isn't anything new. The Gregorys, The Van Cises, Kent and Scott "Fastlane" Phillips. There are many others... So I don't think it's that treacherous.

Which era was that? The Mesozoic era, or the Triassic era?
