Danny was an incredible guy. And gone FAR too soon.......

This has been an AWFUL month.........

I think Danny may have been the first record guy to ever call on me. It was in 1972 at KBZY in Salem. He was helpful in a lot of ways. I feel pretty mortal hearing this news.

Danny was to KOL kind of like Pat O'Day was to KJR. Both icons at their respective stations. Dan's days at KOL and later a weekender at KZOK doing his oldies show will always be remembered. Always full of energy...Dammit..another one leaves us.

Danny was a great friend. His knowledge and energy will be missed. That great smile, warm heart and positive attitude are to be amired.

Rest well my friend.

This is a shocker. Always enjoyed listening to his Rock 'N' Roll Time Machine on KZOK, and later, on KBSG. He was a guy who loved the music, knew the history, and that came across on his show. Got to meet him several times, usually when Paul Revere and the Raiders were in town - Paul and Danny together on the air were a riot! I even had him sign his record for me "Just To Satisfy You'/"Little Queenie". He will be missed.
