I noticed the countdown clock at danpatrick.com has been reset. I've assumed this is counting down to the start of the new show, so I assumed the date is now Oct. 2. Anyone have more info yet?
 
Does anyone even know what the plan is? Are they going to syndicate the show? Is it going to be NET only? I hear that they are calling some stations to offer the show. Anyone get a call? Is it a Premiere product
 
i have found no affiliate info on DP's new show, or even the company thats going to syndicate it, nothing on premiere's site either about it, the countdown on his site ends at Noon so i'm guessing it'd be a 12-3 show to compete with Rome
 
I don't think you could find as many affiliates with a mid-day show as you could with a morning show. I mean with Imus done... why wouldn't he try to syndicate a morning show?

The website provides ZERO info as to whats coming up... so who knows
 
I think that this guy is getting the rude awakening that many of you thought he would receive.
There is not a big market for his services as an independent talker. Jim Rome gets interviews
through either his association with Fox or his aggressive staff. DP got his breaks from his resources at ESPN. How will he compete now? Not very well, I suspect. He is about to become the second coming of the Fabulous Sports Babe. No guest...no audience.
Give him a year and Dan will be a solid 6 and 11PM sports anchor in a less than stellar city.
He did not make the system. The system made him.
