Thanks Bro! I'm being held to a non-compete after my permanent lay-off for six months. I can't really comment on "key facts" in the matter because I don't want to put people in an awkward position. I feel terrible about the "misunderstanding" (I'm trying to be fair LOL). I just wanted to move on with my life and be a part of the Emmis family. MOST of the people at Cumulus have been great...and as much as I LOVE radio (it's all I've ever wanted to do)...I don't want to be perceived as a litigious whiner. I DO want to publicly thank some great people who were willing to let me do what I love to do more than anything again. Frankly, I now feel that being held to a non-compete is the sincerest form of flattery (lol). Blessings to all...I hope to be back in the game by September at the latest!

Non-com contracts are like abusive husbands. They don't love you enough to stay with you and work things out....but, they love you so much they throw you out of the house and stalk you when you try to date someone else.
