Date for WYCN switch to NBC Boston announced

WWDP has a miserable signal in many areas that should in theory be within the coverage area. Their tower is slightly under than 500' and there probably is a lot of terrain blocking.

It appears the only part of WMFP to be shared on WWDP will be Mr. Swaggart's SonLife. It remains to be seen if there are any other deals in the works. Right now WWDP is still Evine in HD on 46-1 and Evine in SD on 46-2. Any deal they could make would be better than 2 Evines...

The Boston market has now lost at least 3 diginets that are usually listed in the top 20 - AntennaTV, Comet TV, and Movies!.

Count me as another person who "in theory" should be well inside the primary contour of WWDP, but instead, I get a big fat digital NOTHING!

I really used to enjoy Movies! on 25.2, and was annoyed when it disappeared. I tried to console myself with the knowledge that it was still on New Bedford's WLWC-28.

Famous last words, huh? :)
