Daughtry concert

Went to Daughtry's concert this weekend. It was ok. Not overly impressive to me, especially compared with other concerts I have been to in the recent past. Daughtry doesn't make much of any attempt to interact with the crowd, which was a half-arena set-up. The band was too loud. The best part of the show was when Chris performed a couple of acoustic songs, minus the rest of his bandmates. I love Daughtry's music but I'll stick to CD's from now on.

Arena capacity at the venue is 23,000. I would say the crowd probably numbered around 6,000-10,000. Most of the concerts I've been to there have been by legends (such as The Eagles, Paul McCartney). They definitely fill up the whole arena. I'm assuming, that, of today's artists, in order to fill up the whole arena, it would have to be someone more popular, like Taylor Swift or Lady Gaga?

One thing I'm not too fond of at concerts is an opening act. They tend to be hit and miss. The opening act at this concert falls into the "miss" category. They were a local bar band, who were so dull I'd much rather watch paint dry.
