Wow. Like they used to say on the old WJBR... just beautiful radio.

Instead of adding an HD-2 (oldies like they had planned), they pull this crap....I was just under their tower today it is the new one they constructed a year ago. Its a unpainted silver utility tower with many tenants and the 6 bay round ball bays are half way up, sort of the same ones that were on the original old tower that was taken down....Is this something odd that a 50kw signal has their bays so low, I know they are listed at 500' same as when on the old tower but they look like only 250-300 feet up....Would most of the power go into the earth with bays that low...I know there are many stations with bays low to the ground but they are not near the 50kw that JBR puts out...Can the 50kw that they put out with low bays cover the same area as the 1000 feet plus signals in the farm that operate on lower power, and would this brute power penetrate solid buildings better than the 1000 feet plus signals putting out under 10kw...just curious...
