Well My friends

we have lost another one of our own Dave Fitz has passed away due to heart issues. Dave was well known in the Gadsden radio market.

He was the news man for WKXX and WQSB Dave was a pioneer in our business he had a voice like no other.

My thoughts and prayers go out to both the staff of WKXX and the staff of WQSB.

Rest in peace Dave we are gonna miss you

My condolences.

I worked with Dave way back in 1977 at Big WAAX.
He took his news very seriously and would get p.o'd when we would try and prank him(make him breakup during a cast by doing something stupid).
Rock steady he was and I can still hear that booming voice...........

I worked with Dave In the early 90 s at waax & Q104 I even did elect. and telephone wiring at his house ,He made me take pay for it, I was doing It for free but me would not let me, He was a great guy and a the best news man I ever knew. Scotty Morgan Caribou Maine
