DAVE FM and Football?

I realize CBS signed the deal before the flip - and Dave seemed a lot more agressive then, but NOW Falcons football and a weak sounding AAA are a horrible combo, and the imaging is pathetic.

I heard a promo tonight on my drive home talking about this weeks pre-season game... all female voice, and not aggressive or football-esque AT ALL. It must be frustrating on both ends - Dave HAVING to promote something that doesn't necessarily fit their life group - and the Falcons not having a station aggressively pumping up their season.

Are there any other FM's in the country that have NFL football - that aren't Talk, Active Rock, Classic Rock or Alternative?
 
Plain and simple, this is a horrible mix. Dave's laid back image is completely incompatible with NFL football.

I would not be surprised to hear about a divorce following the season.
 
I know in Buffalo, 97 Rock has the Bills. It is the heritage classic rock. For a while they were on both 97 Rock and 103.3 the Edge. That was two Fm's in one market at the same time.
