Rumors are Dave fm will flip format if CC drops its Pop station Viva! I know from a good source they already contacted their morning guy! Any word on that?

Does it really sound credible that if a station that actually ranks a full point below them in the ratings flips they will flip to that format to fill that void? Plus Dave just started their own morning show. Dave does well in some of the more affluent demos. So why trade down a point for certainly less affluent demos. Makes no sense but who says it should.

The 92.9 signal is worth far too much for the billings that a Spanish station would attract right now. This is one rumor that's definitely not true.

Dave FM to VIVA is Mui LOCO! Who ever came up with this rumor is also loco. I can see Dave FM to CHR or Sports as CBS has flipped a few of their big market stations to these formats, but Spanish in a city with less than 9% of the population is loco! Why not Korean?

I could see 102.3 flipping to Korean if Patron moves to 105.7 and kills La Raza. Heck, Davis could buy 101.9 and move La Raza to it, and flip 102.3.
