Dave FM transmitter move granted

There is no null towards anywhere.....this is a non directional signal. Take this to the bank......there will be a huge lobe TOWARDS Atlanta!!
Actually, it will be the "Dolly Parton pattern." Two great big ol' lobes!!

So the FCC proposed signal map is misleading. I know you are expert so I am not questioning anything. I generally place directional on any signal with a funny looking patern but I see the FCC website shows the WEKS as non-directional. I see that it is 73.215 contour protection station protecting DaveFM. I would assume that Infinity will have something to do with 92.5 and would allow it to adjust its signal in minor change in licensed facilities application to cover a chunk of Atlanta. It makes total logical since that this was only stage one and a plan is in place to get 92.5 stronger into Atlanta.

I believe that tower also holds WGCL-TV, WGCL-DT, WUVG-DT, WTBS-DT and auxiliary for WTBS-TV.

Yay! No more RF overloading on downtown receivers....

(We pick up 92.9 on top of 91.1 with carrier down, and this is with a Belar mod monitor--no cheap radio indeed.)

I'm certainly no expert.....I only unstop and clean the toilets!
Infinity has nothing to do with 92.5 other than the agreement you have seen.
The CP is for a non directional.....we don't know why the commission drew the circle the way thet did. You can see the pattern is pulled in on the eastern portion, not towards Atlanta....I can find no topographical feature that would account for this. The map from Graham Brock (engineering consultant)does NOT show a similar distortion.
While the antenna will be optimized towards Atlanta, it will not really be a major signal.....it will be similar to J93 and 96.7. Infinity could really bring this signal in and turn it into a functional "rimshot" but it would require moving Dave 93 up the road where land gets pretty pricey.....not to mention those nasty county commission meetings for zoning.

C'mon, someone please say it.

This will definitely affect Q100 because it will be the only station left on Peachtree Plaza. The engineer could get lonely. He could even contemplate suicide. So it might have a big effect.

Doesn't Q100 have an app to move to the V103/City of Atlanta tower and increase power? (I know they had an app to go to the Radio One tower but I heard they have this new scheme cooking.)If they do stay, does that mean we call it the Leaning Tower of Q? And just how DOES Moby affect Q100?
There.....we said it.

I believe Q's application to go to 12.5kw is from the current site.

There's still an XM Satellite Radio repeater up there.

I'll say it. Screw Q100, how will this affect Kiss 104.1?
