Very sad to hear the news of Dave Hull's passing. He was among the best jocks in LA, and was closely associated with the Beatles due to his friendship with George Harrison. Dave's stops in LA included KRLA, KFI, KGBS, and KHJ. He semi-retired in the desert and soon was the evening personality on KWXY from 1994-2012.
Dave was also an accomplished voice-over artist and the co-author of the book "Hullabaloo, the life and misadventures of LA Radio Legend Dave Hull". He had a number of acting roles in television and movies, including the Monkees series, and the classic motion picture "Somewhere In Time".
While Station Manager of KWXY I invited Dave in to talk about his career and life, it was such fun we explored the possibility of him rejoining the station. Dave was also one the nicest people in the business, condolences to his family and friends, may he rest in peace.

I am always heartbroken to see these radio legends pass. I never heard him but he seemed like real colorful character.

In this day and age, the one thing that has been taken out of life, and especially radio, is fun! Whenever we lose one of these gentlemen, we lose a lot, but mostly what life was like when you,and your friend on the radio, were allowed to have fun.

now back to standing six feet apart from everybody, watching athletes play in empty stadiums, and most of all, put your mask back on.
