Dave Marcum

Dave Marcum, 52, died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2006.
Memorial service: 3 p.m. Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church. (Dallas/FtWorth)

Honorary pallbearers: members of the Stephen Ministry of First Presbyterian Church and Erick Faust and Mark Fowlkes.

Memorials: Should friends desire, memorials may be given to Community Hospice of Texas for Hospice House West.

David Kevin Marcum was born July 30, 1954, in Louisville, Ky.

He was a radio personality for over 30 years at numerous stations around the country, recently hosting a morning show for Real Country, an ABC-Disney Network station.

Dave was a deacon of the Presbyterian Church, a Stephen minister and was commissioned by the governor of Kentucky into the Order of Kentucky Colonels.


Survivors: Wife of seven years, Amy; children, Lily and John; mother and stepfather, Elizabeth and Ralph Jackson of Rockmart, Ga.; sisters and brother, Sherry Bledsoe and her husband, Denney of Douglasville, Ga., Vicki Rowe and her husband, Bruce of Lewisville and Jon Marcum and his wife, Clare of Tucker, Ga.; numerous nephews and nieces.
