Dave Munsey 35 Years @ Channel 10

Today marks the 35th Anniversary of Dave Munsey at Channel 10.

I think this is a big deal. As someone who is a transplant, I know I'm not alone here, I've really come to enjoy FOX 10, channel 10.

I think this is a milestone and I congratulate Dave on a job well done.

He said in the clip no other anchor has done it.

Anyone know how old the Munster is?

(Maybe some of the natives and long timers could share some of their memories of Mr. Munsey)

Why yes! (He told us during the clip.)

While talking about being around for 35 more years, he stated that he would be 98 years old, so I'm going to go out on a limb and say he's 63 and has been at ch 10 since he was 28. Just a wild guess. :D
 
I remember Dave when he was a jock on KOOL 94.5 and shared mic duties with Jeanne Sedello. I always enjoyed listening to him on the radio.

And I know they referred to Dave as an "anchor" but I thought he was primarily a weather guy. I don't usually watch Fox10 news other than in the morning so maybe he did have anchor duties along the way.

Congratulations, Dave!!! He's a great guy and a solid met. I just wish Fox10 would give him more time to actually do the weather. He always seems VERY rushed.

I couldn't agree more. I also believe that he is very rushed and having only 1 weather report in an hour newscast is bit on the extreme side. Even 3TV does more weather reports in their 9 p.m. newscasts.
 
I think he does an outstanding job in reporting the weather,but like music fan posted they (producers) seem to rush him along,which i find not so cool especially when it comes to next day forecast we need to know every detail to plan for the next day or week.By the way congrats dave on your 35 yrs of service!!! ;D 8)
