Dave Packer on For BBLEE on WCBSFM

I miss Broadway Bill Lee but as we all, we need a VACATION. I am sure he is getting plenty of RR :) Dave Packer sounds Great, I knew he used to be on 102.7 and I had the pleasure of meeting him when he was there at the EXPO at Citifield Last May. Dave has a nice voice, He sounds a little like Dan Taylor (maybe its me) Glad to hear him all week for My Friend BBLEE :) I just miss BBlee little Rhymes and his sense of humor. Still Dave is doing a great job!!!

When I first head Dave doing a weekend shift a month or so ago, I recognized him as the voiceover guy for "The Breeze" (WWZY/WBHX)...I didn't know he was a jock since I never am up early enough to have heard him on Fresh. But he sounds great on CBS-FM!

Addendum: after listening for the past week or so, with all the guys filling in and doing various swing shifts, CBS-FM has to have one of the best part time airstaffs around. With Pat St. John, Famous Amos, and Big Jay Sorensen to name but a few, the station is in great hands all weekend long, or whenever someone has time off. If only the Mets had a bench like 101.1 does...

:) Now if only I could be a Full in. I would love that!!! So many people out of work, I hope they can find someplace on fill ins on radio stations. I myself would love to so Siriusxm, if someone would train me :)

Packer sounds excellent.. upbeat and into what he's doing.

Thanks everybody! Being on CBS-FM is like standing on the pitchers mound at Yankee Stadium. Everyone from the staff to the listeners have been so supportive. It's really appreciated!

BTW, I'll be back on in August. Now time to record more Breeze Liners! :)

Dave Packer

Dave, thanks for checking in! It's great to hear you're back with CBS/New York after your abrupt exit as Fresh 102.7 morning host. Keep it up!
