Dave Ramsey moves to WSJS

I was browsing around hoping for some great news with regards to snow shutting down the city in the morning (no such luck), and wandered over to wsjs.com, where it appears to be welcoming Dave Ramsey from 10am-12am. This explains why he wasn't on 830 last week when I tried to tune in during his usual slot over there.

What does this mean for JR? He appears to be losing 2/3's of his timeslot to a syndicated show, though, more listenable than Rush and Hannity.

This should be "yesterday's" show - much like a station in Birmingham, AL puts him on for the morning drive.

I don't mind it as much as Atlanta's (640WGST) approach, which plays him on a 1 hour delay over 4 hours with the 3pm and 7pm hour being the same content.

Monday's (2/16) show on WSJS made reference to the Tennessee Titans being 2-0 and the Florida-Tennessee college football game coming up "this weekend", so that is a RED FLAG to the listener that the show is from SEPTEMBER. I guess I blame the producers, who should probably get such references out of there and replace them with ANYTHING.

I noticed Dave had moved to WPTF 9 - noon Mon-Fri last week. Even delayed it is good move and quite a statement about religious radio. He had been "live" on two 50,000 watt signals, 830 in the Triad and 1030 in the Triangle, and moved to stations which actually have people listening.
I was listening to local programming on WTRU 830 AM at about 5:25 pm on Friday (2/13). They attempted to take a call, the caller had hung up and they went back to the interview, you would think if you're taking calls in drive time on 50,000 watts you would be getting more than one call, but that's assuming people are listening. They can't use the signal as an excuse for no listeners, maybe its the programming.

Maybe WSJS should have put a "live" show there like Glenn Beck, he would have
been a better fit for them.

That would take their daily serving of unlistenable political talk (generally sourced from right wing wingnuts, not that there's anythign wrong the the viewpoint) from 8 hours per day to 10 hours per day. I find Dave to at least be listenable compared to Hannity, Rush and Levin, who all happen to make my ears bleed.
