I can testify that it works. Using his "Debt Snowball" strategy, my wife and I have paid off about half of 30 thousand dollars in debt in just the past 12 months.

Well, it's been almost another year... Are you ready you scream, "I'M DEBT FREE"? ;D

We're getting there. Slowly. Our daughter's final year of grad school slowed us down A LOT, but we hope to have everything paid off by next spring.

We paid cash for grad school, and I'm proud to tell the world that our daughter has her Master's Degree and not one penny of student loan debt. She also has a job. Yes ! There is a God !

Wow...getting through undergrad and grad school without being saddled with student loan debt? That is awesome! I hope your daughter didn't expect anything else for graduating!

Are you looking to adopt? Say a 49 year old male... I could use a new car..

and on the other subject.. the snowball thing makes perfect sense, as long as you discipline yourself to stick with it. I would like to give it a shot myself but so far I haven't.

Sticking to the debt snowball will probably be the hardest thing you ever do. You have to REALLY want to do it and it takes a level of financial discipline I don't have.

We haven't always stuck to it a hundred percent -- in fact we fell off it a number of times, and we still slip off it from time to time. But, we are wiping out our bills, slowly, bit by bit, one at a time, smallest to largest.

Cash is king! I adhere to his plan and live very nice. But gass prices have taken a toll. It is the best show on Nogo950

And debt is dumb!

Amazing how they only carry his show for two hours a day (the second hour live?).

I've read where Ramsey can yank his show and take it to another station willing to clear all three hours. Do you think that will happen if, say, 1560 flips to news/talk?
