Dave Randall retiring

I sent Dave an e-mail and he said that he probably would have kept going "as long as I could talk" if he was still in L.A.

But he followed that with "it's time".

I will leave it to the rest of you as to whether or not KRTH's letting him go a decade ago started his clock ticking toward this. Regardless, I imagine that he's gratified that his retirement has gotten so much attention in the trades.
