Dave Reeves....
Originally from Macon, Georgia. Was "David Reeves" on the "Doris (Martin) and Dave Show" on WMAZ-TV.

Went to KGIL, Los Angeles, in 1968-69, according to laradio.com.

Was on-camera and VO talent for Levitz Furniture in the 1980's.

Where is he now?

Not too long at all....thanks for the post.
If you see Dave, tell him I said "Hey!", and ask if he remembers the Cerebral Palsy Telethons at WMAZ in Macon. I got to hang out on the one with "Sky King" and "Elly Mae Clampett", when he and Doris Martin were helping host the show.
I remember somebody brought Donna Douglas a terrapin for "Elly Mae's" collection a' critters.

Quite a coincidence to see your post at this time because David (first cousin) and I played music together, entertaining residents at his apartment tower, just two days ago.

I remember that telethon well. I still have Sky King's (Kirby Moore, right?) autograph.

I even remember David coming onstage, being introduced to "Elly Mae," and her exclaiming, "Gawleee, he's cute."

After the telethon was over, I approached the director (Jim Elrod) who was gathering up the art cards from the camera that was shooting graphics and "supers", and asked if I could have one of them for a souvenir. He replied, "I'll bet you'd like ALL of them", and handed me the whole stack of Crescent boards, with the WMAZ I.D., the telethon logo, and the names of all the stars (white "hot press" lettering on black board) .
I may still have some of them at home (Macon).

Speaking of those art cards....
My sister just sent me some old photos, and one of them is of the cards all tacked up on the wall at home when I was a kid. I'll have to scan it and post.
(Also have a few old WMAZ and WCWB studio photos in there, including a screen-shot of the WCWB ID slide, taken off their M.C. Monitor, before they even went on the air.)
