Has to be on the 14th of Jan. They are running a Superbowl contest that runs through the 13th. I'm betting in order to land that giveaway they promised not to do anything different. Why wouldn't they put him on the air otherwise?

Also...

Word is that Firfer is out. Good luck to her but she is just not a good fit with the new show. Apparently there are no other major changes except...well... format change.
 
Word around Colony Square is that Zakk is already in town and has been for a few weeks.

The Winter Book starts on January 10, 2008. Look for a "Zakk Attakk (TM)" close to that date.
 
Remember, they had Zakk in town and on the air for Call to Auction.

Why no start date? I don't get it. If they were gonna start him at the beginning of the book why not promote him? Other than this board, do Dave listeners know he's coming?

They don't either. They really have no idea what to do with that station. All their attention is on V-103. Dave is just a pain in their behind.
 
Last week, one of the morning show guys (Orf?) said that Holly would be back Monday. She was absent again today. That's never a good sign.
 
Holly has also been removed from the personalities section although she is still mentioned on the More Music Mornings section.
 
I haven't gotten official confirmation but I've also heard Firfer is out. Any word out there on who the female is going to be on Zakk's show?
