Can anyone help me? Why is it (well, I kind of understand why...the whole mystery thing) I can't find 1 single real photo of him ANYWHERE? Even under google image search, there is only the picture from the Magic website. This has to be one of the best kept radio secrets! Does he even broadcast from the Magic Studios? Or do appearances? What is his deal?? I know this isnt a major issue...I just had some free time today and someone was asking me what he looked like.

I worked with him years ago at Greater Media (when I was down the hall at their defunct AM oldies station WMEX). He broadcast from their studios back then, and as far as I know, still does. I have not known of him doing any appearances. He's a great guy, and out of respect for him, that's all I will reveal.

David is a super nice guy. And yes he does broadcast from the Magic studios on Morrisey Blvd. He's a family man and fairly average looking middle aged guy, balding like half of us. Me thinks that most of the women that listen to his bedtime magic show have a certain fantasy image of the man behind that velvety voice. And that suits Don Kelly (Magic PD), David, and the listeners just fine.
 
haha..that was awesome...I think it's great we don't know what he looks like..it makes me think of a hot, dark-haired, suave individual that I secretly want to make out with.

Why the secrecy? Is he a real troll or something?
 
I never met David in person, or talked to him on the phone even. A number of years ago he contacted me about something (via email) and we corresponded briefly. I did get the impression he was a real genuine nice guy. The mystery behind what he looks like is great! The voice the mystery a great combination!

Think of it this way: Boucher has carved out a niche for himself that is highly effective and he is a fantastic talent. Why the myetsry thing? he's got you searching the internet for pictures of him, Id say he's found a way to hold your fascination and isnt that what it is all about?.

He provides a certain air of mystery that WORKS...I'd say more power to him, and he is a great personality to listen to...Love that velvet voice of the late nite!
