In Los Angeles, KKJZ-FM “K-Jazz" (88.1) adds five-time Grammy nominee jazz pianist David Benoit as their new new morning drive host, starting May 2. Benoit takes over for Bubba Jackson who moves to evenings, with evening host Bob Parlocha moving to overnights
 
although I have nothing against anybody getting a gig-I have always not endorsed musicians and artists being DJ's.Special guests,playlists-totally fine-lets leave on air to the pros-They are disappearing fast enough
 
I'm with producer 57, but then as an "on the beach" radio person I would be. To tell the truth I don't know if being an excellent musician qualifies someone to become a radio personality. Maybe they think the name recognition will draw people in?
