David Cassidy loses his license for drunk driving

Partridge Family star David Cassidy had his drivers' license suspended for six months and gets a year's probation after pleading no content to a charge of "driving under the influence" on the Florida Turnpike.

"Keith Partridge" should know better. He's 60 years old now. His insurance rates will go through the roof, even if he takes that senior citizen driving course.

Shirley Jones' dad owned a brewery. Maybe David should have told the judge he just wanted to support the family business.

And believe it or not the beer made by Shirley Jones' family brewery was called Stoneys Beer!
(named after her great-grandfather Stoney Jones, who allegedly won the brewery in a card game!)
You can still buy Stoneys here in Pennsylvania but it is now made by Iron City Brewing.

I agree with your point that at 60 you should have developed better sense than this.
Maybe the judge should sentence him to drive only the Partridge Family Bus so that at
least everyone else on the road will be able to see him coming?

If I am not mistaken but wasn't David Cassidy busted for DUI once back in the 80's? Or am I thinking Danny Bonaduce?

Florida huh? I wonder if when he was pulled over, if he asked the officer to point him in the direction of Albuquerque ;D

It's amazing more drivers aren't loaded in Florida and some other states where they sell booze (mostly beer but some states have wine and liquor, too) in gas stations.
