David Corey?

allaccess said something about him being kiss less today, and a move he s making. Where's he going? and why would he leave Kiss after all this time?

Good luck to you Kidd wherever you're off to, that's ballsy to leave a station like that one man!

if this is true: wow.

Maybe he'll be replacing Paula Abdul next season... :)

Good riddance

He not only terminated the internship of a good friend of mine with two hours notice, but he also took another friend's mix show off the air after said friend refused to remix one of his songs, more specifically the one ("Best Friend In The World") that was played several times a day for 9 months instead of songs that the audience actually wanted to hear. There's a reason why everybody took a piss break when he performed at Kiss Concert. To top it all, he's a Steelers fan.

Hopefully this is true. If so, another self-absorbed jerk exits the business. Good riddance.

LMAO @ "There's a reason why everybody took a piss break when he performed at Kiss Concert. To top it all, he's a Steelers fan"

I think Kiss 108 is the only station in the universe that plays his music. I think if it wasn't for Sunny Jo, he wouldn't get any play.

Re: Good riddance

I'm giving this as my opinion...nothing I know to be true, but it's my opinion as a former KISS listener. He always came off as "yep, I'm on Kiss 108 in Boston, BOW TO ME!" and sadly, he's one of those connected people who were able to record an album simply because of where he worked and who he knew.

God, there's one more thing I wish I could add, but I can't because it would be considered pure slander...even though it isn't.

If it isn't slander, then say it. What's he gonna do? Have Elliot Sloan kick your ass?

It would immediately get deleted, and I would get banned.

Hey Guy I hope you didnt mean my initial post I actually admire that sort of longevity in a station of that size. I genuinely wish the guy good luck..

In that case, e-mail me personally. Check the profile.

his music has been played on other stations... Magic I know for sure.

Which has a lot to do with the fact that he recorded a holiday song with Candy O'Terry.

I always thought his voice was very nasal. Also, he had a very snobby (I'm better that you) delivery on the air.

Oh I didnt know it was with Candy, Oedipus played his holiday song on his annual Christmas eve show I know the year bbefore last, as I recall David was very gracious in his appreciation for that.
