It may not necessarily be what it once was but if things are going in the direction they are in and, in the process, are attracting a new audience over to our side then yeah we have to be supportive of this, love or hate the guy.
Things are really BOOMING for us. Just a matter of time for FM stations to flip formats towards a dance/rhythmic slant. The cycle is certainly favoring this.

This has to happen one would think. Already, certain Mainstream CHRs in markets of all sizes are sounding "dance-leaning" if you were to arrive in 2011 in a time machine from the mid 2000s and not be "desensitized" to the 'mainstreaming' of the uptempo pop sound by the popular artists of the day. It would not be surprising if stations reminiscent of the old 95.3 Party/Orlando playing no pop/rock and only dance and rhythmic tracks were to start showing up in the U.S soon (with a MUCH heavier lean on Dance than 95.3 Party was seeing as this station was around when hip-hop was massive....maybe the new stations would be 75% uptempo/dance and 25% rhythmic/hip-hop). This could open the floodgates to the artists we on this board have been getting behind for all these years. Best case scenario, it could finally turn Dance Hits into a viable format, hopefully nationwide.
