Hi everyone, this is my first post. What I was wondering is if WMMR will ban all DLR/VanHalen songs once Roth begins his morning show. Kind of how YSP banned Twisted Sister stufff while Dee was on MMR.

IMO, how can a rock station not play VH? I would think that they will just not mention DLR name when doing an intro or review. Roth never had anything of a solo career so no need to worry about those songs. JUST LIKE LIVIN IN PARADISE. LOL

I agree. What YSP did by not playing all two of Twisted Sister's big hits was a little petty, but I doubt MMR will drop the VH from their playlist. They, along with MGK, will still be playing Roth from when he was important and really mattered. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Pierre still used the bit where Roth intros himself, then refers to Pierre as "Mr. International". MMR is having fun these days.

Yup...

Agreed. While YSP takes themselves so seriously, MMR sounds relaxed, cool and like they're havin' fun.

Plus, compare Twisted's two or so "hits" to Van Halen's monster catalogue and, well...

If I were Pierre...I'd continue to use the DLR bits...just to piss off the competition. That's called stickin' it! :)

Rock on, MMR!

Alright we'll split the difference:

MMR will continue to play Halen but only tracks that feature Gary Cherone!,.............The music department can probably get that historic Vh album on Ebay as neither the label or retailers want to acknowledge it's existence. Now THAt would get people talking.
