It was a prank !
Yup, it was a Howard Stern prank. It fooled a TV station in Philadelphia. The bit went on until around 7am. A friend of the show did the voice of David Lee Roth.
Per Howard, his insiders tell him Roth will replace him in a few markets and Adam Carolla will get LA & San Diego.

Roth sounds much better than some of the syndicated bozos Clear Channel has brought into the Miami market since they dumped Howard:
1) Lex & Terry (low-class trailer trash)
2) Star & Buc Wild (not good enough to be low-class trailer trash)

What does this mean for Loveline? Will Adam be living Loveline, or will he try to do both shows?
Any thoughts of his replacement? How about the dude from Fear Factor? (Joe somebody) He was one half of the replacements for The Man Show, why not take over for Loveline as well?

I'm wondering if Kevin and Bean on KROQ in L.A. feel anything. For those who don't know, Adam Corolla was a cast member of their morning show. He played Mr. Birchum, a construction expert who gave home repair advice. And now he's the west coast replacement for Howard. For that matter, his Manshow buddy Jimmy Kimmel was Jimmy the Sports Guy also on Kevin and Bean's show at the same time. And now he's on his own talk show. Adam and Jimmy have to be more popular now.
