David Madden, Malcolm Poindexter III and KYW

Madden's no longer anchoring late weekend afternoons and doing suburban bureau reports, and MP3 no longer does traffic on Sunday mornings. I guess Dave's finally retired and Malcolm's moved on, right?

I believe I remember seeing a report from KYW on Madden's full retirement a while back. Hadn't heard anything on MP3, but he's not listed on the KYW website anymore.

They had a brief on air tribute to Dave Madden a month or two ago when he retired. A friend told me MP3 left station but have no idea what he is doing now

I remember Madden 40 years ago at WFIL during its "The Boss is Back" period. One balmy February 1984 afternoon he did the news "First at 56", and when he got to the weather, he said, "WFIL Philadelphia [working in the legal] temperature [short pause], why not? Fifty-six!"

Jim Melwert is the Suburban Bureau Chief (serving only the PA suburbs of Philly) and has been since 2015 following Brad Segall's retirement. Madden was Camden/NJ Bureau Chief until he semi-retired in 2020 and relegated to just anchoring part time in the studio on weekends. Not sure if he had fully retired sometime recently but his bio is still on the website at last check.
