David Ogden Stiers

RIP David Ogden Stiers; enjoyed watching Mash during its original run and now on re-runs. Of all the major actors on Mash; are there more than four remaining? I know Loretta Swift, Alan Alda, Gary Burghoff and Mike Farrell are still with us.

Jamie Farr is still with us as well.

Unlike the TV cast, all of the major cast members from the movie are still living, save for Roger Bowen (Henry Blake). And Bowen died the day after McLean Stevenson (d. 2/15/1996).

Thanks for jolting my memory, KeithE4, not sure how Jamie Farr slipped my mind. Just watched a few MASH episodes.
 
Jamie Farr is looking pretty darned good these days at 83.
Still feted in Toledo as a favorite son.

David Ogden Stiers was a very fine actor. RIP.
 
Great character. He was mostly a spoiled brat but he showed more of a range sometimes.

Larry Linville left the show because he felt Frank Burns wasn't worthy of what the show was becoming. I think I'm correct about that. His replacement proved to be very much what the show became.

He was also the pastor who officiated at Chuckles the Clown's funeral.

Sorry, guys.....Rosanne can't hold a candle to shows like MTM and M*A*S*H......!!
