Pardon me if this has been reported in another thread but I just heard yesterday afternoon that David O'Leary will be doing mornings on Magic 106.7. I do not know who else will be part of the morning team.
 
At least they promoted someone who was already in-house and didn't either hire someone from outside or turn over morning drive to the syndicated "Bob and Sheri" show, which is owned by Greater Media and is based from WLNK-107.9, one of their stations in Charlotte.

David is a class act who I have known since our days at WGTR. He will be perfect in the morning.

Dan Justin who I worked with when WBOS was playing Rock music is also a tremendous individual and would have succeeded in the AM. I think Magic likes him for the ride home.
 
I remember working overnights at WFTQ while David worked across the hall in the Cocaine Realty Building at WAAF. Always thought he was a great guy! I wish him and Candy the best.
 
would have been nice if Mike Roberts got it, GM is skewing younger and David O'Leary has to be 50, where mike is in his early 30's. I remembe David doing overnights at WBCN back in the early 80's....
